In 2022, Metrics was presented with an opportunity to acquire and develop the project with two local developer JV partners.
The project will be delivered over seven stages and will appeal to a wide range of potential purchases with lots ranging mainly from 150sqm to 350sqm with larger lots of up to 800 sqm.
The sloping topography of the site will provide excellent views within the housing estate. The project will target the regional locals and those looking to re-locate from the Melbourne urban growth corridors for lifestyle reasons.
The construction of the project will commence in November 2026 with a target completion date in February 2029.
The site is located 3km from the Drouin town centre, providing residents close and convenient access to retail amenities and services. Drouin is connected by a train station which provides regular V-line services to the Melbourne CBD (1.5-hour trip). The precinct masterplan includes a new primary school and neighbourhood shopping centre providing amenity for future residents. Additionally, the project includes a new public sporting reserve.
