In October 2024, Metrics was presented with an opportunity to acquire and develop the site with an existing JV Partner. The site benefited from an existing development approval with land settlement occurring in July 2025.
The site is strategically located in Coomera, a fast-growing suburb on the northern end of the Gold Coast with 1.6km frontage along the M1, connecting Gold Coast to Brisbane.
The project allows for a range of industrial and retail usages with Stage 1 and 2 zoned mixed use – fringe business precinct and Stage 3 and 4 allowing for low impact industry.
The project includes the delivery of 72 industrial lots delivered over four stages. The site benefits from local amenity being adjacent to the Northern Gold Coast Hospital (under construction), Costco, Westfield Coomera and Coomera train station.
Purchasers can buy fully benched and serviced lots with lots ranging from 2,007sqm to 13,110sqm, appealing to a range of purchasers including investors and private developers.
To date, sales have been extremely strong with over 80% of sites either reserved or exchanged.
Stage 1 will be complete by Q2 2026 with the final stage forecasted for completion by Q3 2027.
